Lake County Library System Presents Authors @ the Library

The Lake County Library System announces Authors @ the library, a new initiative to encourage the love of reading!   This September libraries began showcasing an author on tour with a new book each month.  Lake County residents have proven that they enjoy hearing an author who may read or speak about their own experiences during a personal appearance.  People are especially interested when they have read and enjoyed other books by that author.

Our first author was Lisa Black, from HarperCollins Publishers, with her debut novel Takeover a tight, riveting thriller. In the tradition of Kathy Reichs and Jeffery Deaver, this talented novelist introduced a gutsy forensic investigator caught in the middle of an explosive crisis.

The second Authors @ the Library program, featured  best-selling authors Lynn Sholes and Joe Moore and their latest release, The 731 Legacy.   Their novel, The Grail Conspiracy was the winner of Foreword Magazine’s Book of the Year Award for Best Mystery.

Contemporary Romance author Dara Edmondson joined members of the Clermont Writers’ Club for the third event which covered Characterization in the Novel.  Falling Star, the latest release from Dara is garnering rave reviews including a 4.5 blue ribbon rating from Romance Junkies!

The next in the Authors @ the Library series is Romantic suspense author Terry Odell!   Ms. Odell will appear at 7 p.m., Monday, December 8th , at PJ’s Coffee Bar, 2910 David Walker Drive, Eustis.  The event is hosted by PJ’s and the City of Tavares Public Library and is free to the public.

Terry’s latest novel, When Danger Calls, an adventure romance, releases this month, from Five Star Expressions.
